A science fiction tale about the investigation of crime scenes happening within the mind.
Hopefully this is a scene from the film because as it stands, it is confusing and entirely bland.
Not much is known about the film and the trailer remains a mystery. However, it's Matrix-esque graphics and stunts leaves a lot to be desired from the director who brought us Memento and The Dark Knight.
In his second trailer, Christopher Nolan doesn't disappoint. With more interesting details about the plot revealed, the effects make a lot more sense and the entire feel of the film suggests Nolan may have another hit on his hands. And with such a glossy resume, I could be convinced to call Nolan the new Spielberg.
A Summer tent pole has about a 50-50 chance of earning Oscar recognition and unless the visual effects are far better in the film than in the trailer (at least more original than in the trailer), this film will be a no-show at the Oscars.
I have not seen this film.
