Preview: Never Let Me Go (2010)

Synopsis:

Three English school children grow into adults and find feelings of love emerging despite a grim reality that waits ahead for them.

Review:

I like the design of the poster, the colors and the image, but the fact that it doesn't seem to fit with the trailer makes me wonder how much the artists really know about the film.

Aside from the triptych style, there isnt much exemplary about these posters. The designs are consistent and the images decently selected, but despite being a bold color choice, they don't look all that great.

While it works in trying to show stars people might want to see, it's not a very inventive or notable poster.

Review:

A good mystery never hurt and although some trailers make you frustrated by not hinting at the "secret", others pique your curiosity and suggest a more compelling film than the surface suggests. This could be one of those features.

Oscar Prospects:

Depending on how good the film is, this could be an Oscar contender, especially with an October release date. Pair with it strong critical notices and solid box office numbers and it could do quite well.
