A sequel to the original Spanish foreign language film about an inhuman disease infecting the inhabitants of a small urban apartment complex and those who are trying to survive. Like the original, the sequel is built upon found recorded footage.
The colors are suitably creepy and the image has the faint lined quality of old-style film cameras, but the red eyeball is hopelessly cheesy.
It was apparently so popular that American filmmakers did a near shot-for-shot remake of the Spanish original. Now, we have a film claiming to be a sequel to one of the scariest films ever made, but most people will immediately believe it's a sequel to Quarantine because of the obvious similarities. That might work to sell the film, but what will happen when the audience gets to this and realize it's not exactly the sequel to the film they were expecting.
None.
I have not seen this film.
