Following the foundation and lives of one of the most legendary rock bands in history, this documentary takes us on a journey backstage with Rush.
It captures the essence of the '60s with very little effort and the title alone should drag in the fans of the band, but will that be enough to make it a success? I doubt it.
Rockumentaries, as they've become known, are a tough sell these days. Many of them are wildly popular with a music-raised generation of film critics but is seldom very popular outside of the core fanbase for the bands themselves. This doesn't do a lot to encourage cross-audience appeal.
These kinds of docs are an equally tough sell with Academy voters.
I have not seen this film.
