Following the lives of four deaf entertainers, this documentary hopes to raise awareness for the difficulties these talents still go through in order to be accepted.
Posting the four entertainers with, I believe, sign-language gestures narrating the title, is an interesting concept, even if the background and font are far from good.
Although the documentary seems to have a big heart, the trailer does not do the film justice. It looks like just another television documentary that would typically get shunted into late-night schedules.
The Academy could go for this film, but a lot depends on the actual quality of it. Since I haven't heard a great deal discussed about it, I'm assuming that it's not got much of a shot.
I have not seen this film.
