The follow up to the blockbuster motion picture finds Carrie and her three socialite pals traversing the world.
It's a bit stark for an image, but it's striking nonetheless. It's glossy, glamorous, sexy and beautifully dressed...and Sarah Jessica Parker isn't bad herself.
The series was about fashion. The trailer is about fashion. This poster is about fashion. It's a beautiful poster and should have no problem encouraging fans of the show to drop in again...not that they wouldn't have anyway.
Fairly dull in terms of trailer quality, this film looks like a re-tread of the television formula in a more exotic locale. However, some of the vintage, Death on the Nile costumes flashed briefly in one scene makes me a little bit interested to watch. But I would have six television seasons and a theatrical motion picture to catch up on first, which may just not be worth it.
This new trailer almost makes me want to go back and watch the television show. However, it isn't on the top of my list of things to do.
The first film didn't strike lightning despite being a strong costume-oriented film, though it may well get another Costume Designers Guild nomination in the contemporary category.
I have not seen this film.
