Gordon Gekko is out of prison and has a protégé.
The grainy style isn't fitting in the slightest. The purpose is amorphous, but the generic nature of the image is simply bland.
This doesn't look like any measure of great film and there's nothing new original here from Michael Douglas or Shia LaBeouf.
Someone's going to start pushing either Douglas or LaBeouf for Oscars, probably both, but unless this is a dreadfully poor year for lead actors, a comeback nomination is not in Douglas' cards.
I have not seen this film.
