Review:

It doesn't have an intense, pull-you-in feel and that's a key necessity for a film that looks like it's trying to appeal to the hyperactive teen and pre-teen box office set. The poster is just too colorless and lacks depth.

Taking the first poster and pushing the edges out to reveal more of the scene does little to energize a lackluster original.

Review:

There can be such a thing as too stylized. This film looks like it pushes the boundaries of what's stylish and still in good taste...and by pushes, I mean breaks them and keeps going. An entire film shot on sound stages with no real environments is a dangerous endeavor and this one also feels like it's trying too hard to be a martial arts western. I have news. It's been done and likely better.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
