Preview: Wonderful World (2010)

Synopsis:

A divorced dad must cope with his roommates sudden medical emergency as he tries to understand his life and where he should go. Making matters worse (or better), he begins to fall for his roommates sister who arrives in town do to her brother's condition.

Review:

Broderick gets enough of an airbrush touch up as to look 20 years younger than he does in the trailer. He actually looks a bit like Ryan Gosling if anything. The lower poster design is interesting, but the mosaic of images at the top is unnecessarily distracting.

• Trailer: C+

Review:

The film looks like a slightly happier version of The Visitor with a much younger protagonist and an entire divorced-family subplot. It doesn't feel nearly as original as should.
