Preview: Arthur (2011)

Synopsis:

A spoiled rich 20-something finds himself about to lose his inheritance when he refuses to accept an arranged marriage, instead striking out on his own and trying to live like normal folk.

Review:

Such a tepid, uninspired poster. Russell Brand's grin is unbearable to look at and the rest of the actors, despite being poised differently, can't seem to mask the utter feelings of ennui.

Review:

Both of these trailers, each slight variations on the theme, fail to provide more than perfunctory laughs. Brand looks to give an agonizing performance and Helen Mirren doesn't even look like she'll escape unscathed.
