An art dealer and an art historian become involved in a love affair.
If there is no cinematic importance of the necklace, I would be surprised. Much like the trailer, the poster lacks a passionate push that would bring the audience to the theater.
Tender films about love are wonderful to watch, but whomever cut this trailer together understands very little about building tension or expression and makes this seem like a rather pedestrian project despite the notable names involved.
The Academy has been slow to recognize well known foreign masters, so don't expect Abbas Kiarostami to be an Oscar contender this year.
I have not seen this film.
