Anyone who's a fan of film history should find something to compel their attendance, but for most audiences, I don't know that this will help them to want to stop in and watch a documentary.
It could be a Documentary Feature nominee, though the Academy is notoriously shy about recognizing its own history, so a nomination would be all the film could hope for, even after its subject received an honorary Oscar last year.
I have not seen this film.
