Carl Jung offers advice to Sigmund Freud as he tries to unlock the psyche of a demented young woman abused by her father.
The only thing that keeps this poster from suffering a worse grade is that I can see how the artist was conceptualizing the film, with two psychological minds invading the mind of a beautiful young woman. The problem is, that it's an outright boring poster and cleverness only caries that so far.
In spite of the solid reviews coming out for this one, I'm having a hard time seeing this as more than a clever period piece. It has some solid actors in it and that alone may make it worth checking out, but a better trailer might do a better job selling it.
I had discounted this film a bit wondering how they could possibly create a film about Jung and Freud, but aspects of this trailer and a handful of critic responses have led me to believe that this could be a contender in several categories.
I have not seen this film.
