Preview: Dirty Girl (2011)

Synopsis:

Seeking her biological father, a rebellious teen embarks on a cross-country journey with her overweight classmate to find him while discovering herself.

Review:

Pulling out the antiquated dot-matrix poster design is a good, but misguided attempt to set the film squarely in the '80s. The trailer does that well enough with the feathered hair and questionable fashion sense. The poster needs to do something a bit more clever to draw an audience.

It's a series of common cliches, down to the '80s setting, but it does look like it might be a little bit of fun.
