The story of the rise to fame of celebrated creative duo Charles and Ray Eames, architect and painter who revolutionized the design medium with their futuristic designs.

Review:

For a creative pair, this poster design is a little uninventive. Still, the color set is attractive and for those familiar with the trailer's contents or the lives of the Eames, there are a handful of "Easter eggs" worth looking for.

• Trailer: B+

Review:

Being someone who appreciates architecture and design, this documentary appeals to me. It's a fascinating look at a pair of talented artists and although it may not appeal much outside of their range of influence, the trailer is lighthearted and interesting enough to draw a few curious outsiders as well.

Oscar Prospects:

It's probably a little too apolitical for most Oscar voters, but a case could be made for its nomination.
