Preview: Elite Squad: The Enemy Within (2011)

Synopsis:

A tough cop in Rio de Janeiro seeks political standing but finds a darker enemy in power who doesn't want him there and will use any method, including his own style of violence, against him.

Review:

There are no worse poster designs than ones that feel so cluttered, but lack any creative element. Using the blue hues in the background and the flesh tones in the action elements only creates a visual disparity that makes it look uncoordinated.

• Trailer: B

Review:

There's nothing more fun than a violence-ridden film about the nastiness of politics. For an action film, it looks at least amusing. For a serious drama, the trailer doesn't give much hope.
