It's stylistically cluttered, the flow is blocky and unimaginative. Perhaps something a bit more glamorous would have helped.

Review:

I'll admit I know nothing about Serge Gainsbourg's life, so most of this trailer is a mystery to me, but the use of music is stellar and it looks like an old fashioned biopic, which is a bonus.
