Preview: The Hangover Part II (2011)

Synopsis:

Nothing good ever happens in Bangkok in movies. The three buddies from The Hangover are about to find that out the hard way.

Review:

It may work for fans of the first film, but it's not likely to appeal to anyone else. Still, the details are well selected, though the character images are not.

Review:

If you were a fan of the original, you'll be sold on the film without seeing the trailer. For everyone else, this acts as an example of what kind of film to expect. The repetitive nature of the scenes in comparison to the original suggest a poorly conceived film designed solely to make money.

The first rule of trailermaking is try and be original. Yet, when you compare scene-by-scene this trailer and the trailer for the original film, the similarities are uncanny. I'd even go so far as to say they were carved from the same block of soap with a few minor differences. They are almost identical and that's just not kosher.
