A writer and his fiancée tag along with her parents to Paris where he discovers a magical world beneath the midnight sky of the City of Lights.
Blending Starry Night into the poster is a fairly strong statement and is further evidence that Woody is continuing to explore his fascination with paintings and tactile art forms.
Some elements of the trailer, mostly the scenes with Owen Wilson's love Rachel McAdams who seems to just grate on your nerves very quickly. The film looks compelling in a few spots, but whether it's truly magnificent like critics at Cannes are saying or if it's just another Woody disappointment remain to be seen.
If the film catches on like critics in Cannes suggest it will, this could be Woody's first screenwriting nomination in 5 years (Match Point was his last in 2006, which was 8 years after his prior)
I have not seen this film.
