Review:

I'm not a fan of documentaries but there are some elements of the short two-minute introduction that could be interesting. The frequent freeze-framing gets a bit wearisome after awhile, but I doubt it will be a common element of the rest of the film.

Oscar Prospects:

A self-financed documentary would need heavy support by film festival audiences or critics to be much of a contender with the more obvious fare the Academy tends to favor.
