A middle-aged chambermaid forms a unique friendship with a reclusive American expatriot as she explores her newfound interest in the game of Chess.
Such a generic, uneventful poster. It may do a sufficient job of advertising the film without giving away too much information, but it's too common to be notable.
The idea behind the film isn't entirely accessible and, unless you have a fascination with chess or Kevin Kline, you'll probably just skip this altogether.
I don't expect this to earn much Oscar consideration, but anything can happen when an American performs in a foreign language.
I have not seen this film.
