Review:

It's a visually unpleasing poster. The purpose really escapes me here and I can only hope they improve the concept later.

Your fairly standard animated feature poster with an array of characters in a modestly interesting background with a foreground that's not all that exciting.

Review:

It's a terrible teaser. No one knows anything about the story. No one knows anything about the stars. It's not the kind of trailer that gets people excited about seeing a film.

While not as inherently bad as the teaser trailer, the presented comic elements mixed with the ethnic stereotypes does not give me hope for the film's continued success. However, with Johnny Depp, anything is possible, just not necessarily a good film.
