Synopsis:

In an extreme prequel to the classic Pierre Boule super-futuristic space adventure Planet of the Apes, we are brought to the origin of the species of talking apes.

Review:

Too much wasted space. I like that it's narrowly focused, but I can't really see much of excitement here that would make it more than a passable sales tool.

Review:

I'm compelled by the thoughtful nature of the film, though the action-oriented elements lead me to believe that the film isn't going to be nearly as pensive as it should be.

Oscar Prospects:

Visual effects will be a possibility, but it will be declared ineligible for Makeup.
