A woman, exploring the atrocities against Jews by French forces during World War II, leads her on a search for a young girl who doesn't show on rosters as having been transferred or killed.
The ocean scene doesn't make a lot of sense in respect to the film or the trailer and may have more meaning if you've seen the entire film. This creates a disconnect between audience interest and attendance.
The trailer presents what looks like it could be a moving story lead by the wonderful Kristin Scott Thomas.
If the film is submitted by France to this year's Academy Awards, it could be a force to be reckoned with. Scott Thomas has an Oscar nomination under her belt and the Holocaust theme could propel it forward.
I have not seen this film.
