A professional golfer, unable to prove himself to his father, wreckes his career and ends up in a tiny, backwater town where the locals prepare to teach him something about being himself.
It's a rather pretty poster and it works towards the films ideas.
The film looks like quite a bit of traditional sermonizing. It has solid actors in it, but the premise looks so wholesome and unwaveringly banal that it may not succeed outside of DVD.
Duvall hasn't been courting Oscar for some time and the film just seems to mainstream to appeal to the Oscars.
I have not seen this film.
