A documentary about a sensational story from the 1970's covered by tabloid journalists in England that muddied the facts in a case that had he-said-she-said issues.
It evokes a sense of newspapers and that's the primary reason it succeeds, but the image choice and hard-to-read print make it less enticing.
I had never heard of the story, but it sure sounds like something that might be fun to pop in and watch.
Errol Morris has been an Academy darling in recent years, nabbing a number of nominations. However, I don't think this one's going to earn him another...unless critics really step up to support it.
I have not seen this film.
