Preview: Tanner Hall (2011)

Synopsis:

A group of reform school girls sneak out and thwart athority in an effort to express themselves and lead the lives sequestration has denied them.

Review:

It isn't a bad concept, but the execution is weak. The images add color to the poster, but it's so benign that it belies much of the tempest that lies within the film itself. The old bait and switch isn't necessarily a good thing.

• Trailer: C

Review:

This trailer is all over the place. Attempting to follow any of the action is difficult, which makes it a tougher sell than the poster.
