Preview: Texas Killing Fields (2011)

Synopsis:

Two small town cops are thrust into a dangerous mystery when a serial killer begins dumping young girls into a strip of Texas desert where victims are frequently dumped and jurisdiction is questionable.

Review:

The light-colored four-panel actor display takes a great deal away from this dark and fear-filled environment. Of course that central image doesn't fit the film's style much either.

• Trailer: B-

Review:

Sam Worthington looks to be putting in a little bit of effort for this film, but the trailer only makes it look partly interesting. This by-the-book mystery thriller may not have a lot going for it, but it could at least be a little bit of fun.
