A group of men and women move in together to celebrate the waning days of their lives far from the nursing homes that would typically host them.
Where have I seen this design before? That's right. Everywhere. Is it really so effective that studios think it sells the film? Or are creative talents so challenged at finding creative ways to portray this type of film that they can't be bothered to be inventive?
Although she's given a decent amount of screen time, the film doesn't really seem to be about her. Jane Fonda's appearance in a French foreign language film is certainly an interesting decision. The film itself appears to be a fairly common elderly humor free-for-all with the requisite amount of late-life emotion-bating and self-satisfied entitlement.
