It's being reported that the Academy is soon set to announce that Oscar winning producer Brian Grazer will be taking up the mantle of producer for the 84th Academy Awards.

I don't know if this is good news or not as his films are only a couple of step above Ratner's, but at least he knows how to keep his foot out of his mouth. And who will he choose for a host? He's worked with Tom Hanks several times...and Hanks is an affable guy who is no stranger to comedy and is a notable enough celebrity to bring a few interested parties to the telecast. But my guess is they go younger, but who really should host this year?
