Feed the Queue #121

Here are the results of last week's poll.

  1. Top Hat
  2. Ruggles of Red Gap
  3. Les Miserables
  4. Captain Blood
  5. The Informer
  6. The Lives of a Bengal Lancer

We all make mistakes. Previous lists have had films I've been assured I've seen. This week; however, no one caught that I'd already seen Top Hat. I went looking for an image and the pictures started looking familiar, then I realized I had seen it and even found my snippet review on it. So, I tossed that out. I then went to add Ruggles to my queue and found that it wasn't availalble on Netflix. Les Miserables was available, so that's how it ends up in my queue. (note, I checked Netflix for this week's titles and Louis Pasteur was the only one submitted that wasn't available, so there will only be five this week.

Les Miserables wins and goes into my queue.

Feed the Queue #112

After a very long hiatus, I have caught up on nearly all of the Feed the Queue entries I had gotten behind on. There are a couple more I still need to get through, but they have been on "Long Wait" with Netflix for a very long time. So, I thought it was time to get things going again.

I've posted the four films submitted from the final post last year and will call for votes on these. In addition, I'm asking for a new set of films per our usual rules (which can be found below if you've forgotten). If I receive two or fewer votes by this time next week, I'll extend the voting deadline a week to remind people to get in here and post again. Hopefully, everyone will be ready to get going again. We only have three more submitted categories to go through and then I'm going to be going on an Oscar odyssey that I'm sure you'll love (I'm exaggerating, of course).
