Synopsis:

From IMDb: “The “black sheep” son of a wealthy family meets a young psychiatric patient who’s been raised in isolation her entire life. He takes the naive young woman home for his brother’s wedding to convince his family that he’s finally straightened out his life. She impresses the family with her genuine, if unstable charm. Along the way they fall into an improbable love.”

Review: A sunny, naturalistic design that may play up the “hippy” nature of Evan Rachel Wood’s character, but it does absolutely nothing for a discerning eye.

Trailer: B-

Review: The premise alone makes this sound like a dreary, rom com retread. The trailer does a decent job of setting the film up as something more. The chemistry between Wood and Scott Speedman is strong enough to support the film’s weak concept.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
