Synopsis:

Poster: B-

Review: As long as audiences recognize Ryan Phillippe, it might be a strong sales point. It’s not entirely original, but has enough visual details that it might just keep a curious filmgoer entranced long enough to buy a ticket, but that’s a awfully big “might.”

Trailer: B-

Review: Apart from the film’s dramatic conclusion, if it even is dramatic, most of the film’s plot is revealed in the trailer, which doesn’t give the audience enough to grab onto in order to deem itself interested in watching. It could be quite good, but it has a definite Black Snake Moan feel, which may not be what it’s going for.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
