Review: (#1) Playing on the film’s title, two fathers of very different stripes arrive. This has some interesting details, but not enough to be incredibly exciting. (#2) This is a much more richly detailed design that makes excellent use of physical space drawing the user’s attention to the contentious relationship between two “fathers.” (#3) About as effective as the first one, this uses space less astutely, which makes the eye lazily skip parts of the design while wanting to see something more.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: There are some compelling uses of her humor here and both Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell use their strengths admirably. There’s a certain level of familiarity, uninventiveness and predictability at play, so it’s doubtful the audience will see this trailer and expect something radically different.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
