Synopsis:

From IMDb: “Life after college graduation is not exactly going as planned for Will and Jillian who find themselves lost in a sea of increasingly strange jobs. But with help from their family, friends and coworkers they soon discover that the most important (and hilarious) adventures are the ones that we don’t see coming.”

Review: The tagline suggests these two are starting new jobs, but carrying a box of possessions is more in line with being fired, which may fit the narrative of the film as displayed in the trailer, but it makes for an ill-fitting poster.

Review: If it weren’t for Anna Kendrick, this trailer would be almost unbearable. Everything is so glossy and slick that you know things are so mechanically plotted out that nothing feels spontaneous or natural, which can be dangerous in a comedy like this. There are enough nuggets to suggest there might be a few amusing segments, but overall it doesn’t look as appealing as it needs to.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
