Review: The same visual theme plays through the first three designs, which break the poster up into sections while the fourth design just goes generic action feature. (#1) The first design tries to create visual imbalance, drawing the viewer in to see what the movie’s about, even though that technique has been used far too frequently. (#2) This one is less artfully fractured, which doesn’t quite stop it from being creative, but doesn’t make it exciting.

(#3) The third design looks like the designers just gave up and half-heartedly gave it the four-panel treatment. (#4) Kate Hudson’s expression is tragic, causing any potential on-looker to have concern for her mental well-being at being stuck in such a film.

Review: The beats are familiar, the prospects feel unoriginal and the performances look completely wasted. How they thought this concept would work one more time when all previous similar version have been tough sell is a mystery to me.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
