Review: (#1) Far too much red, not enough creative energy. It’s a bland, but busy design. (#2) It’s a familiar design that doesn’t add much of merit to the myriad others out there, but it’s interesting enough to pique a passer-by’s curiosity. (#3) Similar to the second design, but with a black-and-white background aesthetic that’s modestly interesting, but the vast amounts of white space are wasted.

Trailer Rating: C+ / B-

Review: (#1) While trailers telling the entire story is frustrating, not telling enough of it is also a problem. This first trailer struggles with the problem, trying to avoid some issues while highlighting others. (#2) The most troublesome element of the first trailer is absent from the second. This is a preview that does a far better job conveying the plot to the audience. The problem is that the trailer itself is, like its predecessor, needlessly hokey.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
