Review: It has an element of the depression depicted in the trailer, but that’s not going to play well with a passerby who isn’t familiar with the film or its concept. And Sarah Silverman not being funny isn’t something most people are used to.

Review: The trailer is a tad confusing near the end, though the first few scenes provide an interesting depiction of a conflicted mother. The trailer goes too deeply into the idea that Sarah Silverman is playing beyond type. However, there have been too many great comedians who’ve successfully done fine dramatic work that it’s possible the film is better than the trailer suggests.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
