Review: (#1) The squat-shot pose. It has no conceivable purpose but to look ludicrous, which is what this movie wants. (#2) The tagline is really the best part of the poster, though not having the white background utterly dominate is a point in its favor. (#3) The squat pose again, this time with a beautiful woman to try and distract from how dull this poster is. (#4) The white corner. A staple. A staple of blandness, that is.

(#5) Another cheap design, but this one has a bit more detail such that the design doesn’t feel vacant. (#6-#8) However, vacant is the name of the game with these three posters that seem to continue an existing, already unappealing motif.

(#9) More of the same bland, uninteresting design.

Review: (#1) I suppose if you’re a fan of the first two Johnny English films, which came out 8 years apart in 2003 and 2011, this might seem exciting. It’s been another long duration since, this time seven years apart, so it’s hard to imagine how relevant this third film can be, especially since the first one was a poor response to the success of the Austin Powers films. This trailer doesn’t give one much hope in the potential outcome.

(#2) A touch funnier than the previous trailer, but also less enticing balance out to something that’s just not as compelling as it might have been directly following the first incarnation.
