Review: (#1) Too simple. Too dull. Too yellow. (#2) While it’s not that much more interesting a design than the original, what makes up for it is the appointment of the room and the balance of objects and colors. It’s a stark, bold, noticeable design that draws the eye effectively.

Review: This trundling trailer tries terribly to a tortuous tale. It lacks life, luminescence, and lyricism. It intimates intrigue and intelligence, entwining itself into our interests. Could conquer, could collapse. Can’t be certain.

Oscar Prospects:

It has the kind of production values that often pick up the Production Design/Costume Design category pair, but which struggles in more prominent categories. Reviews were quite strong, which could bolster it with critics groups at the end of the year, but it’s a small film, which won’t have the solid box office numbers to make it a cross-over success and thus a guaranteed Oscar contender.
