Synopsis:

From IMDb: “A modern retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, we follow the lives of four sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March – detailing their passage from childhood to womanhood. Despite harsh times, they cling to optimism, and as they mature, they face blossoming ambitions and relationships, as well as tragedy, while maintaining their unbreakable bond as sisters.”

Review: The blank white background is always a mistake. The modernist approach doesn’t serve the material well, nor does the structure of this poster.

Review: There have been many renditions of the classic novel, but the most memorable ones have all been period-set. This puts things squarely into the modern era and while some elements look a bit mediocre, it still looks fascinating.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
