Review: (#1) There are a lot of colors, too many really, and a lot of details, not enough perhaps. It might appeal to the target demographic. (#2) A lot of wasted space, both literal and figurative. Quite a few colors, but none particularly well suited to the others. (#3) Not too far removed from the prior design, though the background is a little less vacant. (#4) A strange combination of the second and third designs that, even more strangely, works better than either. (#5) Staid, boring, and unexciting. It has far less detail than previous designs, but also less creativity.

(#6-#11) These psychedelic character posters are almost to the level of eyesore, but are visually daring enough to be noticeable. (#12-#17) These character posters employ a neon line-drawing effect that is most interesting even if still overbearing. (#18-#23) A set of water color posters that are neither more or less interesting than previous sets. (#24-#29) A series of drawings that looks like they were rejects from a comic book about these characters. (#30-#35) Another set of character posters that are interesting abstract, but not interesting enough. (#36-#41) Equally as uninteresting as the comic book reject posters. (#42-#47) Another set of posters designed mostly to separate youngsters (and adults) from their money trying to catch each distinctive design, even if utterly useless.

Trailer Rating: D+

Review: A haphazard, clunky trailer that weaves a narrative that’s convoluted and shrill. The film was never going to appeal to non-fans of the Ponies, but even this cannot please them very well.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
