Review: (#1) Hazy recollections of Kristen Stewart probably aren’t an appropriate image considering her awful slate of performances checkering her past. It might bring some of her fans to the theater, but she doesn’t seem to have many left.

(#2) Whether they are trying to create a sense of seduction or not, this poster is almost lifeless. (#3) The drapery blocking off part of the background is an interesting touch, but there is insufficient detail here to be more than passably familiar.

Trailer Rating: C+ / B-

Review: (#1) You don’t even know this is a horror film or similar until the trailer’s nearly over. What kind of drama is the movie and how do you get people into the indie cinema. This trailer does little to engross the audience and unless you’re already a fan of Olivier Assayas, you aren’t going to be entranced by this trailer.

(#2) There is now some intrigue to the story that didn’t feel like it was part of the prior trailer. The film still looks a tad dry, but the audience should know have a slight bit more interest in the film.

Oscar Prospects:

Will Kristen Stewart earn enough bus for her portrayal to earn recognition? Clouds of Sils Maria didn’t materialize Oscar recognition for her, so I wouldn’t hold my breath for this one.
