Review: (#1) I would be most fascinated by this design the letters were on the keys where they belong rather than haphazardly placed to spell out the title. It could have been so much more than nothing.

(#2) Less frustrating than the cheap prior design, this one suggests something entirely different than the trailer does while having a waste of background space.

(#3) Having learned their lessons from the prior two designs, the designers have finally created something that has depth and detail without feeling excessive or bland. (#4) Back to the bland dullness of the second design, but lacking anything that builds on it. (#5) An attempt to take the third design and make it darker also makes it weaker and less appealing. (#6) This iPad-inspired design just doesn’t fit the film’s style while the image at the center, including the missing poster, just doesn’t seem to fit. (#7) A bulky, uninspired design that hasn’t got the depth or elegance of a competent design.

Trailer Rating: B- / C

Review: (#1) One of two films trying to use a gimmick to great effect and this one appears like it might almost succeed. That is if there weren’t small issues as the trailer progresses that makes it feel more and more conventional rather than more and more unique.

(#2) The first trailer went into almost excessive detail explaining the story. This trailer dials that back and tries to establish a mystery, but largely fails. It’s a trailer that without the first doesn’t feel that exciting or enticing.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
