Review: (#1) In a not-so-subtle dig at two White House administrations (the Bush era in which the film is set and the Trump era, which may well be the reason this film was made and released at this particular moment in history), this poster is otherwise lackluster, unimposing, and formulaic. Not even the so-serious figures at the top of the poster look like they want to be on it.

(#2) A dull newsroom design that doesn’t exude excitement or enticement.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: With the number of political dramas of recent years, it’s hard for them to not look similar and this looks little different from Spotlight or The Post. Not that this is a terrible thing, but the end result doesn’t look nearly as exciting as it should.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
