Review: (#1) There’s plenty of detail, but is this poster going to draw audiences to the theater? Unlikely.

(#2-#8) These character posters are all unique and do establish character fairly well, but they are also cheap looking with crappy bold lettering. (#9) Will dogs sell the film? Not with this poster they won’t. This is a dull, lifeless design that could have been brimming with bold excitement, but isn’t.

Trailer Rating: D / D

Review: (#1) It was clear from the time the trailer started that this would be a horrendous film, but the warning that this was made by the same people who brought us Beverly Hills Chihuahua came too late. Terrible jokes, ludicrous setup, and miserable effects make this one a guaranteed failure.

(#2) They’ve doubled down on the Beverly Hills Chihuahua and also thrown in references to Scooby-Doo and The Smurfs, neither of which enhances the prospects. The humor is still terrible, the situations are far from believable, and the visual effects look absolutely dreadful still.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
