Review: This simplistic design is little more than a film scene set on a poster and the 90-degree shift of the title doesn’t embellish the design even if there’s a subtle plot reference within.

Trailer Rating: A- / B

Review: (#1) This period romantic drama looks quite compelling. The trailer hints at turmoil without getting bogged down in the details. There isn’t enough here to form too much of a judgement on the film, but it should be most interesting.

(#2) The first trailer was tense and fascinating. Trying to figure out where this unusual period drama was going was quite fun. This trailer has some of the same fun elements, but feels a bit more standardized. However, it still maintains a nice atmosphere of tension.

Oscar Prospects:

Sofia Coppola has been away for quite some time. She does have a history with the Academy, so this period drama could certainly play well with the Academy. It’s June release might be a problem, though.
