Review: (#1) There are so many potentially stirring images to this and having Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell facing off against each other, rather than both looking incredibly happy, would have been a more fitting design for a film of its subject and title.

(#2) Everything on the Sam Rockwell side is detailed and filled-in whereas the Taraji P. Henson side is blank white. the balance is off.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: The fight to end segregation in a North Carolina community is a fascinating subject for a film and this trailer does a superb job constructing that narrative while promising more compelling events than what have already been depicted.

Oscar Prospects:

The premise is strong enough to be a major Ocsar contender, but the fact that the film hasn’t been dated yet should give anyone pause in making bold proclamations about its chances.
