Synopsis:

From IMDb: “On the desolated coast of Veracruz, Mexico, 17-year-old Sebastián takes over running his uncle’s small & cozy rent-by-the-hour motel. There together with time to kill, Sebastián and Miranda begin to get to know each other, and an ambiguous game of seduction begins between them.”

Review: Both of these Spanish-language designs fail to excite the sense, making them less appealing to the visually acute. The first design is a little more stylistically interesting even if it is a tad generic. The second design is far more bland, but it has some visual flourish that the first design lacks.

Review: A slow, meandering narrative plays out in this trailer, purporting to explore a young, nubile relationship that flies in the face of convention. Yet, nothing in the trailer suggests that the film will be as insightful as it hopes to be.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
