Review: Who hasn’t lost count of the boring, uninventive poster designs that plague the poorly promoted pictures of the modern era. Films that don’t have enough fire or creativity lend themselves towards equally uninspired one-sheets.

Review: If you could create a paint-by-numbers script guide for Hollywood dross, this film would seem to fall into its child-friendly pages. The trailer goes out of its way to hit every predictable heart-tug it can without feeling at all inspirational.

Oscar Prospects:

Some might suggest Reese Witherspoon, in an “inspirational” role, could be a contender for this role, but she has a much more challenging one coming later this year (Wild). That this film looks so cheaply “feel good,” I doubt anything will come of it.
